At NuFit, we make healthy eating simple, giving you the tools and strategies that fit your lifestyle and goals. Laura Berger, MS, RDN, LD, ACSM EP-C, specializes in Integrative and Functional medicine, and uses this as the basis of her approach for weight loss and healing from disorders such as:

- Autoimmune conditions (thyroid disorders, celiac disease, Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative colitis)

In addition to customized nutrition and meal plans, sessions with Laura include behavioral counseling and strategizing that identifies problem areas and barriers to success to ensure you will be successful with your NuFit program. Follow-up sessions provide continued accountability and refinement of the initial nutrition plan to keep you on-track and working towards long-term success. Laura also shares her recipes and education with her clients at The Greeneberger. Food is personal, but together, we can adapt to new experiences and a new normal.
What to Expect from a NuFit Nutrition program:
Step 1: Meet for an Initial Consultation
Here we will meet for about 90 minutes to discuss your personal nutrition experiences and goals. Laura will do a health and dietary assessment to come up with your “Nutrition Prescription Plan”, a tailored nutrition plan based on your needs and goals.
Step 2: Customized Meal Plan
This is an optional service that is optimal for those looking to lose weight or who have specific dietary needs. Our 5-day customized meal plan includes recipes that are designed to kick-start your weight loss and healing, and teach you skills for a healthy lifestyle and long-term success.
Step 3: Follow-Up Sessions
While you may feel motivated and ready to take on the world after our first consult, life happens and we’ve found clients often need additional accountability, motivation, diet refinement, meal planning, or logistical planning to keep you on track. Here we’ll plan out meals, review food logs, and make sure you are reaching your goals! Follow-up sessions last 30-40 minutes and typically occur bi-weekly or monthly, depending on your needs.
